She was born May 23, 1935 in Beaver Township, Ohio to Ralph and Mabel Giesey Wehr. She married the love of her life, Robert Crew Bailey in March of 1953 who preceded her in death in 2001 in addition to her son, Jeffrey Crew Bailey in 1986, and granddaughter Melanie Rose Bitonti in 1998, her brother Jerry Dale Wehr in 2006, and her sister Ellen Jane Young in 2016.
Carol is survived by her sister Judy Betts, her children Timmy Bailey (Neoma) Becky Hepburn, Suzie Bailey, Danny Bailey (Marlene), Eric Bailey (Darlene), Missy Wilson, 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Carol lived a full life as a wonderful mother, grandma and homemaker. She enjoyed the simple things in life and was highly skilled with a crochet hook and home cooked meals.
Visitation will be held at Turner & Stevens Live Oak Mortuary & Memorial Park, 200 E Duarte Rd, Monrovia, CA 91016. December 27, 2021 at 10:00am with a graveside service following at 12:00PM.
