

Born on May 8, 1935, in Edwards, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Roosevelt Graham and Emma Williams Graham. She married Charles Edward Street in 1955 and resided in Los Angeles for 33 years and Altadena for 44 years.
In addition to being a loving homemaker and mother, she loved church activities, gardening --especially roses -- and enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with family and friends.
Doris accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Pasadena, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James (her twin), Roosevelt (RV) and Thomas Zachariah (TZ); sisters, Delores (Babysister), Marie (Honey) and Edith (Eda-Mama).
Her memory is cherished by husband, Charles; sons, Royal E. Street and Robin Street; daughter, Shawn S. Street Strother; grandchildren, DeShawn McCloud, Brandon E. Street, Jessica S. Street, Tyler W. Street, McKenzie R. Street, Kristin C. Strother, Kyle C. Strother and Cole C. Strother; great grandchild, KeyShawn Hairston; sisters, Lillian Graham Mack and Helen Graham Briggs; and brother, Herman Graham; daughter-in-laws, Shawn and Tamera; son-in-law, Stephen; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
