Irineo Cruz Duran, Jr., 71, beloved husband of Veronica Domingo, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, with his wife and children by his side. Born in Manila, Philippines on July 23, 1952, he was the son of the late Dr. Irineo Duran, Sr. and the late Marcela Duran, nee Cruz.
Mr. Duran graduated from San Sebastian College, Manila in 1974 with a degree in Commerce. He married Veronica Domingo in 1985 and they immigrated to the United States in 1987. They raised four children, their sons, Irineo III, Ian Albert, Ivan Noel, and their daughter, Irica. He and his wife established their own business Park1 Parking, and proudly served the San Gabriel Valley area communities – Pasadena, Monrovia, and their much loved community, Beautiful Arcadia!
In addition to his wife and their children, Mr. Duran is survived by his daughter, Patricia Duran of New York; his sisters, Dr. Erlinda Feringa of London, England, Virginia Vos and her husband, Henk of Groningen, Netherlands, his nephews, Noel Duran and Dr. Harm Feringa; his nieces, Nikkie Feringa and Ireen Vos. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lilia Cruz Duran.
Mr. Duran, fondly referred to as “Boy”, will be deeply missed by his numerous relatives, extended family members, and dear friends.
Mr. Duran’s funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January, 13, 2024, at 10 a.m., at Holy Angels Church in Arcadia, with Rev. Kevin Rettig presiding.
