I will always be grateful to Jackie for her dedication to the John Benson Scholarship Foundation. She spent many years as a volunteer at the JBSF annual golf tournaments that raises money for college bound scholar athletes at Garfield High School in Los Angeles. Those who worked with her said she was helpful, a friend, joyful, sweet and funny.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jackie at the tournament fundraiser for JBSF.  It was an extreme pleasure to work with her at the registration table. Jackie had a welcoming and friendly disposition. I will miss her not being at the next tournament. May she rest in everlasting paradise. 

Jackie, we will miss you. You were a big part of our JBSF family. We appreciated your help and support during our tournaments and events. Your humor and attitude was enjoyable and refreshing. We are sad you left us and rejoice knowing you're in the presence of our loving God, family and friends that left before you. 

Jackie, you helped me personally so much. You always had a positive attitude and your humor meshed with mine. I will miss you. Thank you for all you did, it never went unnoticed. 🙏❣️

I just watched the beautiful service of Jackie.  I knew Jackie from my dear friend Diane Wickens.  I would attend all of the events put on by the Wickens and Jackie and Ken would always be there.  Jackie was the one who I would go sit next to each and every time.  We would laugh and giggle.  I felt as if she were my sister.  I know each and every one of you will miss her, and I will too.  God Bless you all in this hardest of time.  Rest in peace Jackie.

Jackie and Ken joined the Southern California MG Club in 2009.  In 2013, she joined the Board as Regalia Chair, and with Ken’s support, served in that position for a number of years.  When the Club’s Board discussed moving the annual Car Show to Orange County, she secured Fullerton Airport as the location, and chaired both the 2016 and 2017 shows held there.  Jackie was always quick to volunteer when someone was needed, and even got members of her extended family involved.

When Jackie and Ken joined the club, they listed two MGB GT’s on their registration, but the reality is that they, like many club members, have a number of MG’s in various states of repair.  While Jackie was busy on the Board, Ken went to work on restoring a 1957 MGA for her.  Although you would often see Ken driving the car when they came to events, he always made it clear that car was Jackie’s car.  When the Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum took over the Womens’ Car Show in 2019, she entered her MGA, and donned a poodle skirt to complement the car’s manufacture year.

We were both on the Board at the same time as Jackie, and got to know Jackie and Ken very well.  We became good friends, and would hang out at Club events and get together on our own for dinner.  We will always remember her as the cheerful, funny, caring person that she was, and will miss her terribly.  


Our sincere condolences to Ken, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, for the loss of this very special lady.

My friend Jackie was also a national treasure she was so kind, loving and cared for everyone - This world will not be the same she was a special lady and I will miss her so much.

Jackie will be missed so much. An amazing woman, spirit and so helpful to everyone.  It is hard to think about Jackie not being at the side of Kenny. Sending much love to all the family.  

My Aunt Jackie had a beautiful soul.  She was so caring, accepting, and had a zest for life.  I was fortunate enough to know Jackie since I was born, and she has enriched my life beyond measure.  She was there for every big event in our lives.  This included weddings, births, vacations, trips up to northern California, trips to the lake, graduations, holidays, and the difficult times as well.  Lolita, Becca, and I were fortunate enough to see Jackie a few days before that cruel disease so quickly took her from us.  Despite everything, she was still spunky and full of humor, and we will always cherish that memory.  We will miss her immensely, but feel blessed to have been a part of her life.

Jackie was such a special person and friend. I loved her sense of humor and she always brightened my day. she was loved and will be missed.  Dianna Vidra

After almost 40 years of close friendship with Ken and Jackie, we are saddened to have lost her so unexpectedly. Her physical presence is no longer here but memories of Jackie will not fade. She was our friendly neighborhood Cat Lady. She cared for those little lost kittens like Mother Superior. We were next door neighbors and travel buddies. We always laughed a lot, we had wonderful dinner parties and drank some wine that wasn’t even necessary as her natural cheerful character livened up any gathering. Jackie was the substitute mother my six year old son chose when he decided to run away from home. She was a true friend to the whole family. 
We’re sorry we can’t be there to honor Jackie or to put our arms around you, Ken, to comfort you at this difficult time. 
May God bless our Jackie. We are blessed to have known her. 

Jackie Brion was the mother of this bride, the nana to my kids, the mother in law to my husband.  She didn’t give birth to me but was in fact more of a mother to me than i can begin to share! Love and miss her every day. 

My dear aunt and second mom, you left us too soon, but your memory will live on forever.   I was so lucky to be your niece and to have you influence my life in such wonderful ways.  I love you more...

My dear other sister Jackie.  I miss you so much.  That thought that I will not hear you laugh  or drive with you again, saddens my heart.  We had such wonderful times together driving our MGs around Southern California and enjoying meals are memories I will not forget .  Jackie’s kindness and willingness to give her time, talent, and enthusiasm tells all she loved every one she met.

My beautiful aunt and second mom. Our Hawaii trip was one of the best vacations in my life. I loved seeing Ken and you in the pools.

Dear Ken and Brion Family,
So very sorry to learn about Jackies passing.
She was the kindest, sweetest person.  So easy to talk to and share a smile.  We met because of the MG Club.  I looked forward to spending time with her at meets and at the summer get together at my house.
She will always be remembered with great fondness.  Again, so sorry for her loss.
