John attended The Passaic County Vocational and Technical Institute located in Wayne, NJ graduating in 1981 with a major in Automotive Technology. He had a special passion for installing and repairing audio and surround systems in cars and homes. John loved music and this love often trigger fond memories for him. On one occasion he met a hairdresser who he readily recognized as a former singer. He went on to recite not only the group she performed with but every song she had ever recorded.
John shared a special bond with his mother and was always readily available to assist her. During each move he was always by her side painting or hanging draperies, anything to ensure her house became a home. Her dislike of ironing motivated John to take over that assignment for her.
His bubbly personality and infection smile brought joy and laughter to those around him. He also loved fried chicken hot or cold. As a teenager John’s special affection for elderly ones moved him to anonymously shovel their driveways and sidewalks. Those humble gestures helped define the loving person he was. He will be sorely missed.
