On October 6, 2022, Robert Armas, loving husband, father and brother, passed away peacefully in the city of Monrovia, California. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Velia, their children, Richard, Debra, Eric and Sam. Grandchildren, Candra, Shaneen, Janna, Richard, Brian, Michael, Leonard, Alexandra, Nadine, Sara and Nathan. Great Grandchildren, Ava, Alina, Penelope, Eva, Jacob, Robert, Jaylene and Ulanni.
Robert was known as generous, light-hearted and a fanatic sports fan. He was a true blue Bruin, Raiders and Giants die hard fan. He loved spending time on the baseball field coaching his sons and many others. Many of his players playing in Division 1 college and major leagues. Robert retired from the Los Angeles Parks and Recreation as a Utility Tractor Operator for 27 years. As so many can attest to, Robert was always someone who loved to help those in need. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and
always remembered in our hearts.
