Roland Edward Palmer II, 45, of Covina, CA, entered into eternal rest on September 24th, 2020 after an extensive battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his devoted life partner, Denise, and his immediate family.
Roland was born in West Covina, CA on January 7, 1975. He graduated from Omak High School in Washington State in 1993 and earned a degree in Automotive Machinery from Spokane Community College in 2002.
Roland was a self-employed contractor. He was a gifted and talented individual. His areas of expertise included: auto mechanics (car restoration and rebuilding engines), construction, and home design. In his free time, Roland loved to travel (especially to Kauai, HI), watch classic television shows and movies, and enjoyed shopping for the best deals in town. He also cherished spending quality time at home with his love and their furry children, especially his Ruby.
Roland is survived by his forever partner, Denise Galvan of Covina, CA; his mother, Rebecca (James) Pena, East Wenatchee, WA; sister Tammy Dahl-Hosfield (Townsend, MT); brothers Peterjohn (Mitzie) Martinez, Spokane, WA; Darrell (Mirta) Palmer, Riverside, CA; and sisters Senovia Martinez, Spokane, WA; Natasha (Kyle) Martin, East Wenatchee, WA; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Roland is preceded in death by his father, Roland Edward Palmer I; brother Robert Dahl; paternal grandparents, Ray Palmer and Emma Stahlecker; maternal grandparents, Luciano and Marcelina Zamora; and several aunts and uncles.
A private service will be held on October 22, 2020 in Covina, CA.
