

Willie Pearce aka Uncle Willie was born March 16, 1930 to Will and Emma Pearce in Silver city Mississippi in a family of 22 children. At the age of twelve his family relocated to a farmland in Belzoni Mississippi where he attended to the farm.
After attending the family farm Willie wanted to experience more of life so, at the age of fourteen he relocated to Lexington Mississippi where he worked odd jobs for a living. Later, he relocated to Greenville Mississippi where he joined church and dedicated his life to God at the age of 17, while he worked for a fabrication company. Later he went to Memphis Tennessee where he worked as a chef.
In 1959 at the age of 29, Willie moved to Duarte California, where he met Verlee Scott in Pasadena Ca. and to that union a baby girl was born named Emma Pearce, after his mother.
In 1963, Willie met Dorothy Jones and to that union a son was born name Job Ronnie Pearce, Willie being from the country affectionately called him Ronald.
While in California, Willie did construction for over 20 years pouring concrete for a living.
In 1973, Willie met and married Ruth Thompson and to that union they were blessed to adopt her niece Kem Pearce.
As time moved on, Willie met and married Ramona Hackett in 1994, The two lived in Rancho Cucamonga CA for about 3 1/2 years.
While in California, Willie attended many churches; of which last was New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist where he was under Watch Care of Pastor Mace Doryne.
Anyone who knew Willie knew that he had a passion for cooking and a flare for dressing and was often said to be cleaner than the Board of Health.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents Will & Emma Pearce, his twenty-one siblings, his oldest grandson Michael Brooks Jr. and granddaughter Jasmine Pearce. He leaves three children: Emma Pearce, Rancho Cucamonga CA, Ronald Pearce, Pasadena CA, and Kem Pearce (Derrick), Federal Way, WA, oldest niece Ruby Pearce, 21 grand kid, 20 great grand kids, and 4 great great grand kids. He also leaves a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, friends and family to cherish his memory.
