Michael "Shag" O'Shaughnessy

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our father, Michael (Shag) O’Shaughnessy on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the age of 86. Loving father of Michael Jr., Norman, Richard, Kevin, Susie, Penny, Sean, Robin and Holly (Doozy) who passed away in 2007. He will be missed by his grandchildren, great- grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Thank you to his friends and extended family who either visited or called to check-in on him over the last couple of months to share laughs and memories . He was a proud Montrealer, where he was born and spent the majority of his life, but his heart was always attached to the Laurentians where he spent the last two weeks of his life surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and watching his blue jays. A celebration of life will be held in June 2024. In honour of his memory, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Leukemia Society.
