Curtis James Valdepena, age 37, of Pico Rivera, California, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025. Born in Whittier, California, Curtis was a bright soul whose warmth, laughter, and creativity touched everyone he met.

Curtis was a lifelong lover of movies and cinema. To him, film wasn’t just entertainment—it was art, escape, and inspiration. From classic black-and-white masterpieces to bold indie projects, Curtis found beauty in every frame. His passion for storytelling shaped how he moved through the world: with curiosity, compassion, and an appreciation for life's little moments.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, kind heart, and the way he could light up a room with a single smile. Curtis had a gift for making others feel at ease, and his sense of humor brought joy even in the most ordinary of days.

A visitation will be held to celebrate his life on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Montebello, located at:
