was born April 4, 1925 in Tucson, Arizona. She passed away in her home peacefully of natural causes Monday, November 14, 2011. Preceded her in death her husband, Gildardo Escalante, her two sons Gil Jr. and George. Elva is survived by her daughters Olivia Stout, Gloriya Cain, Vivian Escalante, her sons Robert Escalante and Frank Escalante. She also leaves 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren to cherish her memory. Elva attended Stevenson Jr. High and Garfield High School. She married on December 26, 1943 to Gildardo Escalante for 42 years. She enjoyed Gardening, Reading, collecting and loved shopping.
