Hazen Dismukes Jr.

Hazen Dismukes Jr., born on August 24, 1957, in Sylacauga, Alabama, passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 68. Residing in Pell City, Alabama, Hazen was known for being hard-working, faithful, humorous, kind-hearted, and devoted.

He graduated from Thompson High School, and his life was marked by a deep commitment to his family and community. Hazen was married to Jane Dismukes for 48 wonderful years. Together, they raised their son, Daniel Dismukes, and welcomed their daughter-in-law, Kindy Dismukes, into the family. Hazen was a proud grandfather to his grandson, Paxton Graham, and his granddaughters, Alexis Dismukes, Alyssa Graham, and Amber Graham.

Hazen's personal interests included working on cars, a hobby he cherished, but nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his grandchildren. His devotion to his family was matched by his commitment to his faith, as he was very involved with activities at Calera Baptist Church.

Visitation for friends and family will be on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 10:00am at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), 3715 HWY 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. A funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Hazen will be laid to rest at Moores Cemetery on Salem Road. Hazen's presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness and devotion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have been part of his life.
