

James "Jimmy" Milton Bice, age 90, of Montevallo, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. He owned Bice Trucking in Wilton for many years, and his CB handle was 00 (Double Aught). He was known to be a pepper prankster, but would at least take you swimming after. He always kept a vegetable garden and enjoyed fishing at the river. His best memories were spent with family, and he left a lasting legacy of hard work and unconditional love.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert Bice and Myrtle Johnson Bice; his wife of 66 years, Rita Faye Bice; son, James Blaine Bice; great-granddaughter, Summer; four brothers; and three sisters.
He is survived by his children, Gary Bice (Tammy), Donna Bice Campbell (Wayne Waldrup), Phyllis Bice Frederick (Bryan), Monica Bice, and Dennis Bice (Carol); 11 granddaughters; 2 grandsons, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Annette, Elizabeth and Jeanette; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for James will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, AL 35115, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Still Cemetery, Hwy 119, Alabaster, AL 35507. In Jimmy's memory, come as you are.
