

Chief Master Sergeant Jimmy Allen Webster, retired U.S.A.F., of Helena, AL passed into the arms of his Savior on August 25, 2020 at 7:21 pm. Jimmy is survived by his wife Christine Gullion Webster, his brother Gary Webster, children and spouses: Dana and Brian Rhodes of Helena, AL, Randy and Amy Webster of Seattle, WA, and Jennifer and Curtis Pinkston of Winchester, VA. He was blessed to be the grandfather of 7 grandchildren: Brody, Madison, Bryson and Mallory Rhodes, and Caden, Grace and Grant Pinkston.
Jim was born in Owenton, KY on June 10, 1945, son of Wilbert and Nancy Webster. He served in the United States Air Force for 30 years. He loved his country and was very proud to be an American. More so he loved the Lord and fellowship with other believers, serving as a deacon at both Rocky Bayou Baptist Church in Niceville, FL and later Riverside Baptist Church in Helena, AL. He was a fan of the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team and did his best to never miss a game. Fishing was his favorite sport, especially when he was able to do so with his grandkids. He was a loving and devoted husband for 53 years. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, friend, and follower of Jesus. He never knew a stranger and was a servant to all. His favorite song was Amazing Grace and he listened to it in his last hours.
Pallbearers are Randy Webster, Brian Rhodes, Curtis Pinkston, Brody Rhodes, Bryson Rhodes, and Bill Golden.
Services will take place on Monday, August 31st, with visitation from 12-1:30 with the service immediately following at Rockco Funeral Home located at 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, AL 35115. A full military graveside service will be held at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL at 2:45 p.m.
