Joseph Frankie Pilkington, age 73, of Brierfield, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. He was born in Tennessee to Arrie Daniel Pilkington and Claudia Fowler Pilkington. He was a country boy through and through, listening to old country music, watching Alabama football or Westerns. He could be found on Highway 25 selling produce out of the back of his Ford truck.
He was preceded in death by his parents; all of his brothers and sisters; and his best friend, J C Hoggle. Frankie is survived by his sons, Frankie "Shane" Pilkington and David Lee Pilkington; granddaughter, Emily Cheyenne Pilkington; nephew, James Hill; best friend, Sherry Shoemaker; and numerous extended family and friends.
A family gathering will be held at a later date in his memory.
