Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Santos Serio; parents, Cleo and Lillian Phillips; brothers, Therman Phillips and Edward Phillips.
Juanita is survived by daughter, Gail Milligan; son, Rick Bradford; grandson, John (Sherri) Milligan; great-grandchildren, Hannah (Mike) Ellison and Jared Milligan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed line dancing and ballroom dancing. She was employed for 41 years by Woolworth as a personnel director and clerical worker. She loved her great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124, with visitation to begin at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
