Lucy Lunceford Herring of Sevierville, TN passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at the age of 73. Mrs. Herring was a retired school teacher and a member of Oak City Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father (Tom Lunceford), her mother (Mary Lunceford) and her brother (Tommy Lunceford Jr). She is survived by her husband, Clyde, her son, Bridges (Robyn) and her daughter, Mary Allison. She is also survived by her three granddaughters, Evynne, Elly and Emersyn Herring. Anyone is welcome at the graveside service, which will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery on Monday, January 16th at 10:15 a.m., with Rev. Chris Kendall and Bridges Herring officiating.
Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends and loved ones at Faith Presbyterian Church, located at 4601 Valleydale Road, Birmingham, AL 35242. Food will be provided. Rockco Funeral Home directing.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests donations be made to Oak City Baptist Church in Seymour, TN.
