Mary "Terri" Teresa Harris

Mary Teresa Harris, age 68, of Helena, Alabama went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 31, 2025. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 13, 1956 to the late Richard O. and Mary Dunaway. She was a graduate of Shelby Academy, University of Montevallo and St. Vincent's School of Nursing. She was a retired nurse at St. Vincent's Hospital and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.

Terri was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Eugene Dunaway. Survivors include husband, David L. Harris; sister-in-law, Carolyn Dunaway of Valley Grand, Alabama; nephews, Richard E. Dunaway, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, of Madison, Alabama, Jonathan Dunaway and his wife, Meghan, of Deatsville, Alabama, and David Aaron Diffley and his wife, Dawn, of Maylene, Alabama; 3 great-nieces and 6 great-nephews.

A visitation for Mary will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, AL 35115. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 10:00 AM at Montevallo Cemetery, Co Rd 73, Montevallo, AL 35115.
