

Mildred was born in Birmingham to Finas and Flora Bell Reid Little on May 24, 1928. She married her sweetheart, William "Billy" Jones in 1946. They moved to Shelby County in 1964 to pastor Pelham Assembly of God. During their years there, Mildred started a Children's Church, and served as a teacher, Women's Ministries director, and Sunday School secretary. She was a homemaker who loved to read and crochet. Mildred was a cherished wife, mother and grandmother who loved the Lord and her family. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rev. William Jones; daughter, Rita Porter; son, Bill Jones, Jr.; granddaughter, Bridget Jones Hines; and four brothers.
Mildred is survived by her daughters, Christina Rogers and Gayla Davis (Donny); grandchildren, Tammy Freeman (Eddie), Terrie Rogers, Ty Rogers, Chris Porter (Donna), William Jones III, Blake Jones, Matt Davis, and Audrey Davis; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Doris Little; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with visitation to begin at 12:30 PM. Rev. Mark Bolton will officiate. Burial will follow at Elliottsville Cemetery in Alabaster. The family requests any memorial donations be directed to River Point Assembly of God Church.
