She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Washington Booth; mother, Mary Frances Lindsay Booth; and sister, Linda Booth Huffstutler Henley.
Patricia was a wife of 32 years to James David Phelps. She is survived by her three children, David Lee Phelps, Susan Annette Phelps, and Patrick Phelps; nieces and nephews, Kaysha and Ken Huffstutler, and London and Evelyn Huffstutler; and many extended family members.
She loved with her whole heart. Our Momma was the best mother the three of us could have ever been blessed with. She was an angel and earned her wings here on earth and is now watching over us.
Patricia was a member of Ryan Baptist Church, and though we still wish we could call her, Heaven doesn't have a phone. She lived a good full life, and was kind and generous to everyone she met. She came into this world and left it on the same day 75 years later.
She worked for Dr. Brice Bracken and Dr. Michael Gerhart. She worked for 30 years with Dr. Ginger Alred, and as office manager for Dr. Cynthia Walters before she retired at age 65.
A graveside service for Patricia will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Ryan Cemetery, Hwy 17, Montevallo, Alabama.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.rockcofuneralmontevallo.com for the Phelps family.
