Greer, Ray Everett, of Montevallo and a long-time resident of Mobile, AL passed away peacefully on May 4, 2016. He was born on March 4, 1928 in Birmingham, AL. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nora McGraw Greer; his parents, Bryan and Lona Greer; 4 brothers, 1 sister; 1 granddaughter; and 1 great-great-grandson. He is survived by 2 sons, Steve Greer and Glenn Greer; 1 daughter, Arleen Gilliland; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; a lot of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. He was a loving husband and father as well as a friend. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 12:00PM with viewing from 10:30AM to 12:00PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with burial following at Mars Hill Cemetery on Hwy. 150 in Hoover.
