She was known for her willingness to serve and deep love for her family and friends. She was enduring and faithful amidst heartaches and losses and has left behind a beautiful legacy of motherhood and wholehearted diligence in all she put her hands to do. She was found smiling over the accomplishments of her grandchildren, a bowl of Blue Bell ice cream, anything nautical, a pontoon ride on Lake Martin, her choir cantata, service alongside her local church, any and every baby she met, a bargain find of any sort, and her morning coffee. She found her greatest joy, though, in Christ, and her hope in Him carried her through gladness and sorrows and now sweetly home into the warm embrace of her King and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Lambeth; her mother, Johnsie Lambeth; and her husband, David Wear.
She is survived by her children, Sandy (Don), David (Debbie), and Chuck (Raquel), and her eight grandchildren, Madison (Rigo), Meghan (Austin), Mason (Sydney), Micah (Caroline), Keona, Kale, Hudson, and Charlie Grace, and her five great-grandchildren, Beckett, Murphy, Warren, Will, and Linen.
A funeral service will be held at Briarwood Chapel on Wednesday, February 18th, at 12 o’clock. Visitation will be held at 11 o’clock prior to the service.
