She is survived by the love of her life "Junior" (Robert Fine), her two sons, Michael Stone Jr. and Matthew (Jessica) Stone, as well as her daughter, Ashley Fine. Sandy leaves behind 4 grandchildren whom she adored; Micah, John Ryan, Leah and James. She is survived by two sisters, Deb and Nita.
Sandy graduated from Calera High school, met and married Michael Stone and had two sons, Michael Jr and Matthew Stone. After a divorce, she met "Junior" (Robert Fine) and shared her life with him for nearly 30 years. Together they had a daughter, Ashley Fine.
Sandy was a happy go lucky, always had a smile on her face kind of gal. She loved hugs and never met a stranger. She loved any and everyone she met and made sure they knew it. She constantly encouraged others by always lending a shoulder to cry on, sending little love notes, sharing scripture and flooding your phone with ten thousand emoji stickers a day. Sandy always seemed to be looking on the bright side.
Sandy took pride in being a mother and a grandmother. Being "Big Momma" was something she cherished in life. Sandy really enjoyed being with other people. To say she loved to talk would be an understatement. She enjoyed crafts, she was a TV fanatic and she took photos of anyone, anything, anytime and anywhere. She always wanted to capture that memory; now we're glad she did.
Sandy was a wonderful woman. She always had the best of intentions and a true love for life and will be so dearly missed.
A visitation for Sandy will be held Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Lomax Assembly Of God, Clanton, Alabama, followed by a funeral service at 5:30 PM. A committal service will occur Monday, July 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Dargin Cemetery, Calera, Alabama.
