Teresa Bush Acker

Teresa Bush Acker, age 56, of Six Mile, Alabama passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. Teresa was born July 2, 1965 in Birmingham, Alabama, the oldest of four children. She graduated from Bibb County High School and attended the University of Montevallo. She was a sweet and giving mother, Mimi, daughter and sister. Teresa was a very special person who will be terribly missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Gann Campbell; father, James Harlan Bush; grandmother, Genell Lay; and brothers, Benjamin Bush and William Campbell; and sister, Jerry Campbell. She is survived by her sons, Matthew Hayes and Zane Hayes (Grace); grandchildren, Madison, Kayson, and Riley & Waylon Hayes; step-father, Tommy Campbell; brothers, Jeff Bush (Stephanie) and Greg Bush (Robin); sister-in-law, Brenda Campbell; uncle, Gary Gann (Tess); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation for Teresa will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.

Teresa will be laid to rest in Six Mile Cemetery, Brierfield, Alabama.
