Alice Drucilla Hornsby

Dru was preceded in death by mother Lucille Walden Hornsby and father H. D. Hornsby. She will be remembered as a quick wit who could tell a joke. Enjoying the travel agency with her mother, she traveled all over. Dru loved animals and delighted in the stray cats and birds in her backyard. While very organized, she managed to find time for people and was a part of the Daughters of the Nile, Eastern Star, Montgomery Gem Club and Evangel Temple. Drucilla leaves behind a host of cousins and friends to cherish her memory.

A visitation for Ms. Hornsby will be held Friday, April 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude with a committal in Greenwood Cemetery.
