Ann Covey Reese

Reese, Ann Covey, a resident of Montgomery, died Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at her home. She was born August 25, 1942, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Blunt Covey. Mrs. Reese was a 1960 graduate of Lanier High School and attended Huntingdon College and Auburn University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She was active in the community and a faithful member of Trinity Presbyterian Church since 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Marlow Reese, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Margaret Ann Reese Webb, Pickett Robinson Reese (Amy), Letitia Reese Askew, and Carol Reese Vucovich (Chris); eight grandchildren: Margaret Reese Webb, Pickett Robinson Reese, Jr., George Bristow Reese, Charles Allen Reese, Morgan Askew IV, Ann Elizabeth Askew, William Marlow Vucovich, and Henry Reese Vucovich. She is also survived by her sister Carol Covey Goodwyn; and nieces, Carol Goodwyn Kirkland (Rik) and Elizabeth Goodwyn Head (David).

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Kurt Cooper officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service at 11:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, Montgomery Christian School or the Montgomery County Historical Society.
