He graduated from Auburn University in 1978 with a degree in Agricultural Business and Economics. Art was employed by GroSouth, formerly Montgomery Seed and Supply, for 40 years. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, attending Auburn football games, but most importantly, spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur L. Morgan, Sr.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his devoted wife, Kathleen; loving children, Justin and Marlee; mother, Betty Y. Morgan; sister, Beth Hicks (Pat); and numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Family.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel, with a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11:30am at Leak Memory, led by Dr. Teman Knight. Pallbearers to include: Justin Morgan, David Munroe, Caleb Hicks, Pat Hicks, Matt Bishop, and John Johnston.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Baptist East for their kindness and compassion, Dr. Keith Thompson and staff at Montgomery Cancer Center, and their family and friends for their prayers and support over the last 6 months.
