Mrs. Bettye Sue Price

Bettye Sue Price, 89, of Deatsville passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Bettye was born in Heflin, AL and moved to Montgomery at the age of 17. She went to work for the State and lived in a boarding house. She married Bill Price in 1946 and they moved to Millbrook in 1965. She was retired from Koppers Manufacturing. Bettye Sue was preceded in death by her parents Frank Steele and Vera Robison; Sister: Mary Elizabeth White; Husband of 63 years Wilbur “Bill” Price; Son: Michael Errington Price and her step-father: Charles Robison. She is survived by her daughter Mary Jane Price Myers (Jim); Son: Charles Allen Price (Wanda); Grandchildren: Melissa Price, Michael Price Myers, James Errington Myers, Allen Price; Great grandchildren: Carson and Ethan Myers and her step brother Monroe Reeves. Graveside services will be at 1 pm on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Nathan Attwood officiating. Visitation will be from 11 am until 1 pm at Leak Memory Chapel.
