Billy Joe Alston

Alston, Billy Joe 52, a longtime resident of Montgomery, died peacefully on April 20, 2023. He was surrounded by family and friends. Billy adored his two fur babies Stella and Allie and enjoyed camping, hiking, kayaking and parachuting. Billy was an avid Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves fan. He loved spending time cooking on the grill and making people laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Vernon Alston and Mary and Alfred May.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Christy Alston, his sister Teresa Powell (Don); nephews and nieces Philip (Hannah), Dillan ( Jordan- Ann), Hunter, Dustin (Jodi), Austin and Tyler; great nieces and great nephew Georgia, Frankie, Lou, Emmy and Peter. He also is survived by his in laws Floyd Killebrew, Debra Killebrew, Bryant Killebrew and numerous aunts uncles cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Saturday April 29, 2023 at Eastmont Baptist Church at 11am with a family and friends visitation one hour prior to the service. A Graveside service will be held at Georgia Road Church of Christ Cemetery in Wetumpka following the service.
