Bobbie Roland

Bobbie Rodgers Roland, 85, died Saturday, October 21, 2017. Funeral services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Steven Nulph officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens. Bobbie was the daughter of Ida Mae Wells Nall and William Thomas Wells. She was predeceased by her son, Mark Alan Rodgers (Joann) and is survived by her children Thomas Daniel Rodgers (Judy, dec.), Ann Rodgers Haigler (Tim), Joseph Keith Rodgers (Teresa), Bobby Lee Rodgers (Laura), 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives. Pallbearers will be Tim Haigler, Jr., Todd Rodgers, Jake Rodgers, Luke Rodgers, Joey Stojak and Billy Wells. The most important things in Bobbie’s life were her family, friends and church. She was a faithful member of Perry Hill Road Baptist Church. Bobbie’s love and generosity were evident to all who benefited from her many creative talents. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Perry Hill Road Baptist Church, 3909 Vista Circle, Montgomery, AL 36109 in memory of Bobbie.
