Major Bobby Ray Huffaker

Bobby Ray Huffaker, 71, of Montgomery, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Luther Huffaker, Sr., and Virginia Marlowe Huffaker. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Annette Till Huffaker; son, Joshua Ray Huffaker (Stephanie); daughter, Kara Lynn Huffaker Jansen (David); grandchildren, Jackson Ray Huffaker, Joshua Brody Huffaker, Christopher Ray Till Jansen, and Jayden Matthew David Jansen; sister, Gail Bailey (Jack); brother, Bill Huffaker, Jr. (Kay); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Major B.R. Huffaker was retired after 41 years with the Alabama Marine Police Department. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, an amazing grandfather, and a loyal friend to anyone.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery. Bro. Chad Middlebrooks will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home. Leak Memory Chapel of Montgomery will be directing services.
