Brent Philip Baker was born February 24, 1970, in Inglewood, California. He left this world and entered the next on November 11, 2023, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery following a lengthy illness. He was a baptized believer in Jesus Christ.
Brent is survived by his son, Morgan Winfield Baker and fiancé, Tatyana Thompson; his Mother and Father, Darlene and Wayne Baker; one brother, Terry Baker and wife, Cindy; three sisters, Jodi Baker Dillard and husband, Craig; Gwen Head, and husband, Steve; Libby Collier and husband, Wade, and one Aunt, Sharon Craddock. Plus cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Brent was an Insurance Executive serving the needs of people around the southeast. He graduated from Jefferson Davis High School and earned a Bachelors degree from Faulkner University here in Montgomery.
Brent had many talents and rarely met a stranger. He had an excellent tenor/baritone voice and enjoyed musical theatre as a hobby. He performed on most of the stages in Montgomery. His greatest joy was his son, Morgan. Nothing pleased him more than performing on the same stage with his son. Therefore it is no surprise that Morgan is now both a teacher and Director of Theatre at Magnolia High School, Magnolia, Arkansas.
A family and friends visitation for Brent will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Grace Point Church, 1565 Ray Thornington Rd, Montgomery, AL 36117. A celebration of life memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Leak-MC.com for the Baker family.
