She retired from the Alabama Department of Transportation where she had a long and fulfilling career.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years James Robert "Bob" Campbell, her parents Charlie W. Webster and Josie Lee Foster Webster, brothers Duane Webster, Charles Webster and John Webster, sisters Jo Daniels, Sarah Dillard and Thelma Lambert.
She is survived by her son, Craig Golden (Pat), daughters Gina Golden, Tina Vance (Rucker), Joni Golden; stepdaughters Laura Ann Eggleston (Chuck), Caroline Bowden (Kenny); grandchildren Chad Golden, Casey Vance, Jazmine Gagner (Brett), Jeb Golden (Candace), Morgan Mills, Jake Mosley, Jason Vance (Kristie), Candice Meyer (Rob), Jessica Ramadas (Vibush); great grandchildren Josie Golden, June Golden, Campbell Mills, Peyton Gagner, Lena DeRieux, Jackson Vance, Braden Vance and Aubree Vance; sisters-in-law Vera Webster and Mary Alice McDaniel (Jim); several nieces and nephews.
A family and friends visitation for Carolyn will be held Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at White Chapel Greenwood. The Family will have a Private Graveside service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
