           Carolyn was one of my favorite cousins.  She was always happy and energetic even when she got older.  She was very independent and learned to do and fix many things around the house and on cars.  I never heard her say a cross word to anyone. We both shared a love of cats, and she was lonely when her last cat died.  Carolyn loved her sister, Sarah, who was one of her best friends.  Carolyn was among the fortunate people who never gained weight her whole life which was just like her daddy.  Her red hair as well as her welcoming personality always made her stand out and be remembered .  I will certainly miss talking to her.

When we were young Carolyn and I loved to climb trees.  We were good at it.  Unfortunately, Sarah, her sister, was not so accomplished as we.  Carolyn and I would help Sarah climb whatever tree we were in.  So far, so good, but then we would get tired of that tree and leave.  Sarah was left in the tree to get down by her self.
