Catherine Veronica Herthum

Catherine Veronica Herthum (Shanley), age 77, resident of Montgomery, AL, beloved Wife of the late John W. Herthum, entered peaceful rest on Friday, January 14th, 2022. Born in Bridgeport, CT on January 26, 1944. She was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Kerstetter) Shanley. Preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, and her Son James M. Swanson and Daughter Jennifer Lynn Herthum, and Sisters Jacqueline “Jackie” Dunleavey and Elizabeth “Betty” Swanson. Survived by Sandra M. Swanson (Daughter) and Brenden (Kayla) Swanson (Grandson), and three great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Copeland and John. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and loving family and friends. Cathy was an employee of Sikorsky Aircraft for over 25 years and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A Private Burial will take place at later date.
