

Mr. Bloodworth retired from the United States Air Force where he was an Aerial Combat Photographer and a Special Agent, Office of Special Investigation (OSI). Along with his duties in the military, Mr. Bloodworth had a passion for recreational photography as well as flying and Alabama Football.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, June McCain Bloodworth; and his son, Charles Dennis Bloodworth, Sr.
Survivors include his grandchildren, Charles Dennis (Karen) Bloodworth, Jr. of Dallas, GA, Julie (Max) McCoy of Watkinsville, GA, Kevin (Nancy) Bloodworth of Ottawa, Canada, Scott Bloodworth of Atlanta, GA; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Diane Bloodworth; his brother-in-law and best friend, Bobby McCain; and other relatives and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to his caregivers through Home Instead of Montgomery, AL.
The visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Leak Memory Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Anthony Counts officiating. The burial will follow at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery. Leak Memory Chapel is directing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Boys and Girls Ranches of Alabama or to the Youth Department at Mountain View Baptist Church, Wetumpka, AL.
