Charles L. Brasington Sr.

Charles Leslie Brasington, 71, passed away at home surrounded by family Tuesday, August 28, 2012 after an extended illness. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Sizemore Brasington; sisters, Estelle Smith, Hazel Lawhorn, and Katie Thompson; children, Leslie Brasington, II (Ann), Andy Brasington (Gena), Beverly Gulino (David) and Angela Hall; grandchildren, Charles Brasington, III (Brittney), Austin Brasington (Ashley), Danielle Brasington (Dusty), David Gulino, II, Brittany Brasington, Nicole Terry (Kevin), Nik Hall, Kristen Gulino, Bryan Brasington, Marc Hall, and Boomer Gulino; great-grandchild, Colt Brasington. Mr. Brasington was preceeded in death by his father, Robert W. Brasington,Sr., his mother, Minnie Martin Brasington; brothers, Robert W. Brasington, Jr. and Clarence Brasington, sisters, Mary Willingham and Lois Roop. He was a loving husband for 53 1/2 years. He was a wonderful Dad and Paw Paw installing Christian values in them. He was a Deacon at Church. He served on the Montgomery Fire and Montgomery Police Departments for over 20 Years. and was a successful businessman of Charlie's Trophies for over 36 years. He served the Youth of Montgomery Area for over 40 years. Vistation will be 5-7 pm Friday, August 31, 2012 at Leak-Memory Chapel @ 945 Lincoln Rd Montgomery. Services will be 11 am Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Leak-Memory Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
