Pritchett, Charles L., age 82 passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edith Yates Pritchett; son, Rick L. Smith; a granddaughter, Meribeth (Thomas) Blackwell; three great-grandchildren, Riley, Grayden and Lilly. Mr. Pritchett was preceded in death by two sisters, Dora Mae Miller, Mary Street Rathy and three brothers, Roy Lee, Thomas Pritchett, Willie Morris. Funeral services will be held at Heritage Baptist Church on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Teman Knight, Dr. Hayden Center and Dr. Perry Neal officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Gallant Baptist Church Cemetery, Gallant, AL on Tuesday. Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Pritchett, Jerry Street, Al Smith, George Baldwin, Jansen Richardson and Larry Jones. Honorary pallbearers are all personal friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heritage Legecy fund, Gideons Int. or a charity of your choice.
