Christine Ann Martin

Christine Ann Martin of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on June 25, 2018 at the age of 74. She attended Blyth School in Norwich, England. Christine was a British Civil Servant of with the Royal Air Force. She retired at Royal Air Force Fairford in 2004 with 22 years of honorable service. She received recognition in 1989 for her service to the United States Air Force on Queen's Birthday Honors List. Christine was fluent in several languages, and she loved gardening, her dogs and cat, was an avid fan of NFL Football, and was a fantastic cook.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Edward Duncan of Spike Island, County Cork, Ireland; and mother, Ethel Mary Horne of Norwich, Norfolk England.

Christine is survived by her husband, John Emory Martin Jr.; son, Richard John Martin; daughter, Helen Ann Martin Goulet; sister, Patricia Duncan Cowles; and grandchildren, Sebastian Martin, Camille Goulet, and Isabelle Goulet.

A Celebration of Blessing will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at 2322 E Cloverdale Park, Montgomery, Alabama, 36106.

Internment will be at the Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers Christine would like donations to her favorite charity the Montgomery Humane Society.
