

SULLIVAN, Clarence Webster, “Web”, 85 a resident of Montgomery, AL died Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Leak-Memory Chapel with Minister Brad Sullivan and Minister Phillip Black officiating. Burial will follow at Dublin Cemetery in Grady, AL. A visitation will be held Saturday one hour prior to the service. Survivors include his wife, Doris Houlton Sullivan; two sons, John Patrick Sullivan (Joy) and Michael Wayne Sullivan (Frances); one brother, Calvin E. Sullivan (Mary Anne); one sister, Norma B. Helms (Billy); four grandchildren, John Robert Sullivan (Katie), Chad Watwood, Aubree Sullivan Carpenter (Keelan), Andrew Michael Sullivan (Kenan), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five sisters, Sara Shiver, Jewel S. Spivey, Martha Judy, Nelva Gibson, and Katherine Catrett and two brothers, Maynard Sullivan and James “Bud” Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan served in the U.S. Air Force in WWII in Germany and took part in the Bay of Pigs Mission and retired from the 187th ANG unit as a Master Sergeant and the U. S. Postal Service. Pallbearers will be Keelan Carpenter, Andrew Sullivan, John Robert Sullivan, Robby Shiver, Chad Watwood and Mickey Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders of Vaughn Park Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to AGAPE or Baptist Hospice.
