

SMITH, Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Kirsch Smith was called home suddenly on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Montgomery, with Pastor Jay Wolf officiating. Visitation begins at 1:30PM and the service at 3:00PM at the church.
Cindy is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Edward Jeramiah and Doris Arnette Kirsch, maternal grandparents, C.M.W. and Vera Bama “Bubba” Thrash Engelbert. She is survived by her parents, William Curtis Kirsch and Sue Engelbert Kirsch, Montgomery, AL , sister, Boo Kirsch Hynes (Jeff), Sugar Hill, GA, two precious sons Christopher Brandon Smith and William Taylor Smith, both of Montgomery, AL, her pride and joy – Christopher Johnathon “C.J.” Smith, life-long friend, Jean Ann Pierson Farshee, and numerous cousins and friends. Cindy loved and was loved by many. She will be greatly missed.
Cindy retired from the State of Alabama after 30 years with the Alabama State Troopers and went to work at the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners. Cindy supported and loved all “her” troopers and all law enforcement.
Pallbearers will be Keith Kelly, Ken Kelly, Mike Junkin, Steve Saint, John Driggers, and Darryl Phillips. Honorary Pallbearers will be all Alabama State Troopers, Brian Jackson, Trey Ward, Sean Cook, and Craig Cook.
He decided it was time to call Cindy home.
