Dana Alford and her husband celebrated 59 beautiful years of marriage on earth and enjoyed
much of their time together on the shores of Florida and Georgia. She is back in his arms today
to continue to celebrate the heavenly years.
Her retirement years have been spent reading books, watching TV series, eating at great
restaurants and traveling. Though Dana’s most cherished time was spent with friends and
family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Next to the Lord above, her
family was everything.
The last year and half of her life was spent in the independent community of Azalea Trace.
Where galas, Friday night socials, church, going to the salon and dining with her close friends
brought her so much joy.
She loved living each day to the fullest, and never missed the opportunity to tell her family and
friends how much she loved them.
She lived a very cherished life, from family and friends, to her church fellowships, neighbors,
and communities in which she lived. She always faced adversity with grace and was a
wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and will be dearly missed by those
whose lives she touched.
