May 21, 1968 – May 3, 2025
Daniel Floyd Gardner passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on May 21, 1968, Daniel lived a life marked by hard work, a love for the outdoors, and a deep connection to nature.
He earned his high school diploma and later attended technical school. Daniel worked as a mechanic, dedicating his career to working with vehicles and engines. Outside of his profession, he found great joy in spending time in the outdoors. Hunting was not only a passion for him but also a source of pride and accomplishment throughout his life. Above all, his greatest achievement was being a father—his sons were his pride and joy.
Daniel will be remembered for his quiet strength, his steady hands, and the deep love he held for his family. Whether he was in the woods at sunrise or under the hood of a car, he found peace in the simple moments. His presence brought comfort, his stories brought laughter, and his love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Daniel is survived by his two sons, Cole Gardner and Garrett Gardner; his granddaughter, Charlotte Gardner; his sister, Helen Gardner; and many loving friends and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on May 7 at Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery, Alabama.
