Dave Barnabas Wingard

Dave “Diamond Dave“ Wingard age 66 of Montgomery passed away peacefully on Jan 18, 2023 . He was a graduate of Lee High School class of 1974 and earned an Associate of Art degree from Huntington College. Dave enjoyed playing his guitar, singing Karaoke and spending time with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents William C. Wingard and Katie Malie Cobb Wingard; oldest brother Joseph C. Wingard. He is survived by his brothers John W. Wingard, Robert W. Wingard (Veronica), Paul A. Wingard (Donna); Aunt Dolores M. McLaughlin and several nieces and nephews. The family request no flowers, in lieu of flowers please give donations to Meals on Wheels in his honor. The Wingard family would like to express their gratitude to Jackson Hospital and staff for the great care provided to Dave during his illness.

A family and friends visitation for Dave will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Leak Memory. A celebration of life graveside service will occur Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Forest Hills Cemetery, Snowdoun, AL.
