David Larry Connelly

January 11, 1970 – February 20, 2026

David was welcomed into Heaven on February 20, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with Cancer. He was surrounded by the people he loved the most as he met The One Who loved him the most – Jesus.

To know David was one of life’s greatest treasures on Earth. He loved big and lit up the room with his smile. He loved the outdoors: fishing, kayaking, camping, and grilling. Spending time with his family was his favorite place to be.

David will be missed by so many. His legacy will live on as we share his Jesus with the world. Jeep rides and sunshine will bring happy memoires of our “Hillbilly Dave” until we meet again.

David is survived by his wife of 32 years-Chan, daughter Emily (Brett), bonus daughter Olivia, and life-long best friend who is more like a brother-Jon (Marcy) Little. He also leaves behind mother-in-law Martha Chapman; sister-in-law Jessica (Elton) Gilliland; nieces and nephews Coy (Amber) Connelly, William (Stacey) Connelly, Tamala (Marty) Connelly, Cole Beach, Mattie King, Kowen King, Karli King, Caleb (Kiersten) Horton, Christian Horton, Preston Gilliland, Emilee Gilliland, and Ashleigh Little (Gavin).

He was preceded in death by his parents Mildred and Larry Connelly, brother Edward Connelly, and sisters Nora Lynn Connelly and Kristi King.

Special shout out to our tribe for being the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus during this most difficult time.
