David Edward Lyons Sr.

LYONS, David Edward, Sr., age 77 of Montgomery, died on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at his home. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Gibson Brantley Lyons, and his infant granddaughter, Jacquline Diane Lyons. Mr. Lyons is survived by his children, David E. Lyons, Jr., Catherine Eileen Lyons, and Brantley Walker (S. Bridget) Lyons; grandchildren, James Brantley Lyons, Joseph Alton Lyons, JoAnna Dee Lyons, Brantley Kenneth Lyons, Destiny Kristen Thomas, Elizabeth Grace Lyons, Michael Mills, and Philip Winston Lyons; great-grandchild, Gracie Diane Lyons; and brother, Joseph (Helen) Lyons. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014, at Christ Church on Vaughn Road. Father Robert L. DeMoss II will officiate with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Troy. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Brantley Walker Lyons, David E. Lyons, Jr., James Brantley Lyons, Brantley Kenneth Lyons, Joseph Alton Lyons, and Michael Mills.
