We missing you Debra continue to rest in peace. ..

It’s been way over a year since she passed away but I just learned about it. We where friends when she lived in Sylacauga and tried to keep in touch but life happens. I could not believe she was gone. My condolences to all her family. Heaven gained an angel and we lost an angel.  She was a beautiful person inside and out. I wish I could have seen or talked to her one last time. I love you Deb!

It has taken me over a year to write this. My heart is still broken and lost. I miss you so much! Your smile and words of encouragement always made my day.  We had been friends for 38 years! Before we even had our kids ❤️ 
This world isn’t the same without you my sweet and special friend and sister.  I’m sure your heavenly days are wonderful and you are still singing “Holly Jolly “…… you had a fun fun personality for sure!! I came to see you not long before you passed but no one was home. Oh how I wish I could have hugged you just one more time Debbie Lynn.  Keep a watch over us all and keep flying high sweet angel! You left us way too soon!!!  Dana

Today is one year since Debbie passed away and I can tell you that the people at Smith continue to miss her and paid her a wonderful tribute by having light candles (electric) and black and white balloons with “you are missed “ and other phrases on them.  I just know that Debbie is smiling down at here department today.

I was shocked to learn of Deborah's passing.  I remember the day I hired her at J. R. Smith Mfg.  She was always an outstanding employee.  I remember being in the hospital room while she held little Jesse and having the honor to officiate at the graveside.  My condolences to the family during this time of grief.  May God give you a Peace that is beyond your understanding.

I am so very very saddened to hear the news of my precious friend’s passing . Debbie was such a beautiful lady, inside and out.  I have no doubt she’s resting in the arms of Jesus.  Wayne , Sue, Jeff and Beth and Debbie’s family … I love y’all, I’m  so very sorry for your loss .

Oh how my heart breaks for you all.  Brian, Dalton, Dylan, Mr. Wayne, Mrs. Jimmie Sue, Bubba, and Beth my love and prayers go with you now and for the days to come.  You were always family to me and still are even though time and life seem to get in the way.  I love you all and the memories are fresh.  Love you so!

Debbie was beautiful inside and out. I enjoyed the years that I worked with her at Smith and I can see that smile now, just as bright and loving as ever. My heart goes out to her entire family. May God give you all peace, understanding and comfort. My love and condolences to you all.

I’ve work with Debbie approx 40 years,  I’ve seen her get married to Brian,  grieved with her in the loss of her first born Jesse, rejoiced with her in the birth of two more sons Dalton and Dylan,  welcomed two daughter in laws Mariana and Syndey and celebrated with her in the birth of her two grands Levi and Vadley.   She was as true wife - mother and in-law and Nana as anyone could be - she was a Mama Bear.  
She loved her family beyond measure.  
Jimmie Sue, Wayne, Beth and Bubba you are were her first loves and she cherished you.    I am honored to call Debbie my friend and confidante, we shared many of life’s joys and sorrows - so many laughs and inside jokes to count.    We worked side by side for the last 20 plus years as department backups with each other duties.  When she became my supervisor I was so excited for her, she worked hard to get that promotion and well deserved it.  
I’ll close by saying, Ellie Mae I hope you’re having  a Holly Jolly time up there with Jesus and Jesse -  I will miss you immensely my dear friend and sister in Christ 😇 I love you girlie 💖

I have been a neighbor to Deborah and Brian for a number of years. Every visit to the “Man Cave “ I was always greeted by Deborah with a nice smile and pleasant demeanor. She will be missed and always remembered by many. 

Words can not express the hurt in my heart for the loss of one of my dearest friends. There are so many memories I will hold near and dear to my heart of Debbie. All the good times and the electric smile on her face was contagious to everyone around her. My love to her family that have meant so much to me for so many years

For some reason this evening my thoughts traveled to the day you and I worked to create the last section of the dance flooring for Dalton and Mariana's wedding. A simple task bonding the female side of two families joining. I cannot remember details so much as the feeling of joy we both shared. I so looked forward to times we planned to sew together, make bread together, etc. yet life was too short and most plans were unrealized. For this I am deeply saddened. I would have treasured more moments with you. I do treasure the trip together to Washington DC where I witnessed Levi's love for you. I knew our love for Dalton started with you. As I watched you with Levi, I understood how that came to be. Though you have been taken from us too soon, you have given much to your son's and their wives and children. You will be very much missed! But your impact is and will be everlasting. 

Brian and family....my deepest sympathy goes out to all of you in the loss of a great an wonderful lady, Debbie. May God Bless and watch over all of you at this very sad time.

I mainly know Debbie through work but did know her love of her family and the utter joy it brought her to be a grandmother.   I don't know how many times Debbie would stop me to show me a picture on her phone.   If you walk into Debbie's office you will see many family pictures and pictures of her department with her.  She loved her family and enjoyed working with the people in her department.  Although you could say I was Debbie's boss, I felt we were partners when it came to our company.  Debbie did a wonderful job as our Customer Service Supervisor and based on the number of messages that have come in from our representatives across the country, well let's just say she will be missed!    But as I have written, Debbie created a void in our company but more of a void with her family.  I can speak for everyone at Jay R. Smith Mfg. Co. and our other divisions that we hope that she rests in peace and we will always remember that smile.  God Bless.
