Donovan, Dennis Rogers, 92, a longtime resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on July 22, 2015. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Inez Donovan; his son, Dennis Rogers Donovan, Jr.; his parents, Walter and Effie Donovan; sisters, Gladys Wright and Gloria Culver; brothers, Albert Donovan and Durward Donovan. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Jones and her husband Bobby of Alabaster, Sandy Miller and her husband Bob of Hebron, MD; grandchildren, Katy Smith of Birmingham, Emily Jones of Huntsville, Andy Jones and his wife Anna of Hoover; great-granddaughter, Violet Jones of Hoover; daughter-in-law, Katy Donovan of Auburn; one brother, Milton Donovan of Prattville; one sister, Doris Johnson of Hoover, and a host of dear nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27 at 2:00 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Tim Meadows will be officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
