

Priester, Destin Leah Hanson, 44, received her ultimate healing and met her Jesus face to face on January 16, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 11:00a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel prior to the funeral service.
Sweet Destin loved dancing, crocheting, and most of all, telling everyone about Jesus and how much He loves them and His power to heal them. She was a precious soul, who loved math, had a contagious laugh, and wore her faith on her beautiful face. She showed love to everyone she met. She will forever be our "Little Miracle Girl"!
Destin danced for the Atlanta Hawks and Auburn University as a Tiger Paw and cheered for the Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Force, and Troy University. She also served as a Cheersport National Championship Coach.
She leaves behind her Devoted Husband, Brian Priester and Two Precious Children, Linkin Priester (14), and Levi Priester (13): Brother, John Richard Hanson, III: Grandmother (Dee Dee), Joyce McGinty, James McGinty (PaShot): Mother in Law, Joy Priester (Bella): Sister in Law, Alissa Bowden (Jeffrey): Nieces: Alexandra and Katherine: Nephew: Noah: Aunts: Tara, Vicki, Jan and Susan: Uncles: Marvin, Jim, George and Buddy: Cousins: Arleah, Sarah, Kayla, Ben, Amy, Caleb, Jacob, Chip, Hanson, Lane and Aaron: And many friends, who all loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her Daddy, John Richard Hanson, II, and Momma, Debbie Goertz Hanson: Grandmother, Merrell Hanson Humphries and Grandaddy, John Richard Hanson, Sr.: Father in Law, Joel H Priester.
Pallbearers will be: John Richard Hanson, Hanson DuBois, Lane DuBois, Aaron DuBois, Chip Handley and Jacob Goertz.
