
She was born in Clayton, New Mexico, and moved to Florida in 1967, living in Jackson County for 44 years. She was a member of the Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church; she loved to sing in the choir and had a card ministry that touched many lives. She was a retired custodian of Grand Ridge School. She loved the Lord and she loved people.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Zelma Daves; two brothers, Danny Joe and Jack (both Daves); and two sisters, Beverly Dougherty and Barbara Gerringer.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lyvoyd Jeter of Grand Ridge; a son, Donald Jeter of Cypress; three daughters, Marianne (Howard) Kelley of Grand Ridge, Karen (Brian) Sanders of Tallahassee, and Amy (Gary) Oxendine of Sneads; a brother, John Daves of Mountain Grove, Missouri; two sisters, Donna (Jack) White of McComb, Missouri, and Marilyn (Pat) Kinnamon of Wellington, Kansas; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A date for the memorial service is yet to be determined.
